Chase Bank has released a new ad that sees Drew Barrymore once again facing off against ‘Scream’s’ Ghostface.
Do you like…cash back?
I mean, yeah, who doesn’t? What I’m more interested in is the fact that Chase Bank has released a new ad for their cash back program that features Drew Barrymore in a Scream spoof that has her once again going up against Ghostface (played here by Kevin Hart).
The goofy commercial has Hart decked out in Ghostface gear as he calls to ask Drew if she likes cash back. The two then go on a “cash back montage” that has them saying “cash back” to each other with every purchase.
Is it dumb? You bet. That said, it’s always fun to see Barrymore reprise one of her more iconic horror moments, her brief yet incredibly impactful role as Casey Becker in Wes Craven’s Scream. Especially fun is that the ad arrives ahead of the film’s 30th anniversary later this year.
