Ghost Face and Billy the Puppet are getting a very different kind of makeover.
Leaked photos offer an apparent first look at JAKKS Pacific’s Doll Haus of Dread, a horror-inspired fashion-doll collection with Jason Voorhees and Pinhead reportedly joining the lineup.
The images, credited to collector accounts OctobersLights and SeeingMount and shared by YouLoveIt, reveal female fashion-doll interpretations of two familiar horror icons:
- Ghost Face: The doll combines Ghost Face costume elements with a look that evokes Drew Barrymore’s Casey Becker in Scream. That’s a fun resemblance, although the doll hasn’t been identified as Casey.
- Billy the Puppet: The Saw-inspired doll reimagines Jigsaw’s messenger as a fashion character, giving collectors something considerably different from another recreation of the puppet.
These look really cool, and I’m already seeing plenty of excited collectors on Twitter. There’s clearly an audience ready for more horror fashion dolls, and these first two give us an idea of what Jason and Pinhead might look like.
An official release date and pricing remain unconfirmed. For now, check out the leaked looks below.
