Death has arrived at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and the walkthrough videos are making a pretty convincing case for a visit.
Final Destination: Death’s Playground is now open as part of Fright Fest 2026, with influencers and theme park accounts sharing footage from inside the new haunted attraction. And the highlight? An insane airplane explosion that guests witness from a recreated airport waiting area.
That’s a hell of a way to put you inside Final Destination.
The maze brings the franchise’s elaborate death traps to life, with familiar nightmares – including the wood chipper and kitchen sequence – getting their own moments throughout the walkthrough. But that airport scene is the big draw for me. Watching the disaster unfold from inside the terminal is a really fun way to translate the movie’s spectacle into a haunted attraction.
