Peaches and Pinhead are bringing “F*ck the Pain Away” into the Hellraiser universe, and the resulting music video is very much not safe for work. Expect BDSM imagery, blood, sex, and gore.
Saber Interactive has unveiled the collaboration for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, calling it the first official rework of Peaches’ breakout single. Steve Molitz, Saber’s music director and lead composer, produced the new version in collaboration with Peaches, with Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) providing narration as Pinhead.
“With this rework of the track, it frames my song in a darker, more twisted world. ‘Fuck the Pain Away’ is ever-expanding and now has new meaning in the Hellraiser universe. I’m in!” Peaches said in the announcement.
Peaches helped define electroclash with her confrontational electronic sound and unapologetic exploration of sexuality, making her work a natural fit for Hellraiser’s collision of desire, pleasure, and body horror.
The survival-horror action game arrives October 8 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. A free Steam demo is available now.
