Art has already been making the rounds in video games. You might remember his appearance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone during 2024’s Halloween festivities. That collaboration offered an Art the Clown Operator skin through the Terrifier bundle, along with themed weapons and other cosmetic items.
He also has a game of his own: Terrifier: The ARTcade Game, a retro-style beat ’em up that lets players control Art as he tears through movie sets where films about him are being made. It supports up to four players in local co-op, taking the franchise’s carnage into the world of colorful pixel art.
The gaming appearances offer another measure of how far Art has traveled. The films turned an independent splatter villain into a character recognizable well beyond the people who actually sit through his movies. Now he’s getting another audience, and another group of potential victims.
