A doll possessed by the spirit of Jeffrey Dahmer stalks a remote photo shoot in Jeffrey Dollmer, and Dread Central has the exclusive trailer premiere.
With echoes of Child’s Play and American Psycho, plus a fictional supernatural twist on a real-life killer, this one looks like it knows exactly how ridiculous it is. The doll has a bit of a preppy Slappy look, and the trailer gets violent and crazy pretty quickly. Gory, goofy, and very cheesy – there’s an audience for this kind of thing, and the footage below should tell you whether you’re in it.
The film’s fictional setup begins in 1991, when Dahmer attempts a ritual to transfer his spirit into a doll before his capture interrupts his plans. The doll spends decades locked away in police evidence before being discarded and finding its way back into the world.
In the present day, its spirit is accidentally summoned and attaches itself to a young model who resembles its former owner. When the model heads to an isolated photo shoot, the doll follows, stalking the other models and crew.
