It’s a gift from Cinemark Theatres for fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas, as the chain has announced a Santa Jack popcorn bucket coming soon!
With a detachable Santa hat and LED light, this thing looks like it’ll brighten any movie night.
The post doesn’t list a release date, but I imagine we’ll see the bucket land in theaters sooner rather than later.
For those who don’t recall, The Nightmare Before Christmas is the classic tale of Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town. When he discovers Christmas Town, it changes something in him. Jack wants to bring the joy of Christmas to Halloween Town, but the ghoulish residents aren’t having it.
I watched this movie every holiday season as a kid, and still throw it on from time to time. It’s perfect gateway horror. And for parents who want to enjoy it with their children, now you can eat popcorn from Jack’s skull while you do it.
It’s the gift that keeps on giving…hopefully without any nasty Halloween Town surprises.
