EXCLUSIVE: A canceled puppet show is getting a reboot, and these exclusive images from V/H/S/MIXTAPE suggest somebody should have left it alone.
Dread Central has your first look at “Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance,” directed by Renee Zhan and featuring work from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. The segment follows a studio attempting to revive a long-canceled puppet show with a mysterious past.
We’re getting puppets going on a killing spree, with that familiar, colorful look making the violence all the more bizarre. Even more fun is the appearance of horror legend Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, From Beyond), who also turns up in these exclusive stills.
Crampton has been an essential part of horror for decades, from those early collaborations with Stuart Gordon to the career resurgence that followed You’re Next.
