Godzilla Minus Zero is looking like the blockbuster event of the season, and four new posters are making the case for seeing this thing on the biggest, loudest screen you can find.
Tickets are now on sale, with IMAX early-access screenings on November 3 kicking things off for Godzilla Day. The film then opens wide across North America on November 6, courtesy of GKIDS and Toho.
The new artwork celebrates IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and D-BOX, giving us four different invitations to experience Godzilla’s next rampage. After how spectacular Godzilla Minus One was, this feels like a movie worth making an event out of. Give me the enormous screen. Give me the sound that makes the whole room shake.
Takashi Yamazaki returns to direct the sequel, which picks up two years after Minus One, with the Shikishima family facing another catastrophe as Japan struggles to recover. As we noted when the latest trailer arrived, the human story looks every bit as important as the monstrous destruction. That balance is what made the last movie so damn good.
There’s an extra reason to consider IMAX: Godzilla Minus Zero is the first Japanese production to carry the Filmed for IMAX designation.
You can get tickets here. Check out all four posters below; how will you experience it?
