Ti West is taking us inside a haunted castle, and Apple’s new reaction trailer makes it look like a pretty incredible place to experience a horror movie.
Remnants, Apple’s first immersive horror film, arrives October 16 exclusively on Apple Vision Pro. Unfortunately, that means you’ll need the headset to experience this one, but the flashes of footage in the trailer look amazing.
The video pairs those glimpses with what Apple describes as real reactions from viewers entering Woldmere Castle. It’s selling the atmosphere and the feeling of being pulled into West’s nightmare, and it looks like something you really need to experience firsthand.
Written and directed by West, the 27-minute ghost story invites viewers to uncover the dark secrets haunting the castle, according to Apple’s official listing.
West has given us everything from The House of the Devil and The Innkeepers to V/H/S and the X trilogy. He also has Ebenezer, starring Johnny Depp, on the way. Getting to see what he does with immersive horror is a pretty exciting addition to that list.
