Obviously, Nancy is the get. Fairuza Balk’s unforgettable character receives her own $70 standalone doll, while Sarah, Rochelle, and Bonnie arrive together in a $120 three-pack. Completing the circle will run you $190 before tax and shipping.
Nancy comes with two outfits: her school uniform and leather-jacket look, plus her dramatic all-black dress and long coat. Accessories include red-lens sunglasses, a spellbook, a dagger, a candle, and a snake in a jar.
The three-pack outfits the other girls in their St. Benedict’s uniforms, with ritual accessories including candles, a caged bird, a bagged clownfish, and a jarred butterfly. Both releases feature VHS-inspired packaging, and purchases through Bratz.com include a folded poster.
The timing is pretty funny, considering how much we’ve been talking about Carrie and its mysterious psychic community. The Craft is more explicitly witch-oriented, but that mix of teenage isolation, belonging, and dangerous power still hits.
Andrew Fleming’s 1996 coming-of-age horror classic is a forever movie for me. Peak ’90s, a great cast, a great story, and something we return to annually. As wrote in , it “delivers strong messages of female empowerment and champions individuality.”
