‘Crystal Lake’: Linda Cardellini Grabs a Knife in New Official Images

Our Crystal Lake review arrives in a few hours, but first, Peacock has provided Dread Central with a fresh batch of officially approved images from the A24 series.

There’s nothing too revealing here, although we do get a killer new shot of Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees with a knife in her hand and rocking the now-iconic blue sweater. The costumes and set design also give us another look at the attention paid to recreating the period.

All eight episodes premiere this Thursday, October 15, on Peacock.

From creator, writer, and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry), the Friday the 13th prequel follows Pamela almost a year after Jason’s drowning. Still consumed by grief, she receives a visit from two strangers digging into her past, setting off disturbing events throughout the town.
