There’s somebody at the bottom of that Cheetos bag. And apparently, he’s covered in the stuff.
Blumhouse and Cheetos have released another short film from their The Flavor of Fear collaboration, and this one delivers a pretty good scare considering we’re talking about a snack commercial.
Written and directed by Joe Blaugrund, the short Man at the Bottom of the Bag follows a woman who dismisses a stranger’s warning before unleashing a terrifying force she has no hope of containing.
The warning? There’s someone waiting at the bottom of her bag. What follows includes a demon covered in Cheetos dust, which is a pretty fun way to turn those familiar orange fingers into something horrifying.
Farah Marwan stars as Monica, with Brooks Ginnan as the creature, credited as Cheetle. Laura Meadows plays the Snack Lady, and Jaelen Cooper appears as a new shopper.

We previously shared Bill’s Favorite Snack, another short from the partnership that turned an office worker’s miserable routine into a supernatural nightmare. Both celebrate Cheetos Sweet Phantom Heat flavored Puffs, which combine sweetness and heat with tingling, fizzing, and numbing sensations.
The new short was produced by Hunter D’Ancona, with cinematography by Grace Gallagher, production design by Eden Vanetek, and music by . Blaugrund and D’Ancona edited.
