Danny Trejo Joins Spanish Horror-Comedy ‘Together Until Death’
Danny Trejo has joined the Spanish horror comedy ‘Together Until Death’, featuring a handful of up and coming Spanish horror stars.

Danny Trejo (pictured above in The House Next Door) has been cast in the Spanish horror-comedy Together Until Death, reports Deadline.
The actor joins Sandra Escacena (Verónica), Aria Bedmar (Sister Death), Stephanie Gil (Terminator: Dark Fate), Nira Osahia (Olympo), Carlos Santos (Smoke & Mirrors), and David Santana (The Fall of the House of Usher).
The film “follows four inseparable friends whose celebration of one member’s university admission turns into a nightmare when a macabre prank goes fatally wrong. Their decision to conceal the accident triggers an increasingly chaotic spiral of bodies, lies and blackly comic violence.”
Igna L. Vacas (The Nanny’s Night) wrote and directed the film.
Producers on the film include Teikirisi Films (Paco Sepúlveda), in association with Panic in Frames (Víctor Paniagua).
Said Sepúlveda, “We set out to make a bold, fast-paced and unapologetically entertaining genre film, driven by female characters and conceived with an international audience in mind from day one. The Canary Islands give us the visual scale and versatility the story needs, while this cast allows us to push both the horror and the dark comedy much further.”
At this point in his career, Trejo has mostly been appearing in horror films in small cameos, and I imagine that’ll be the case here. Still, it’s always fun to see the iconic actor, who has appeared in everything from From Dusk Till Dawn to his title role in the Machete franchise.
Production is currently underway in the Canary Islands.
