Want to See ‘Crystal Lake’s Jason Voorhees in a Hockey Mask?

Jonathan Tison wears the sack as the older Jason Voorhees in Crystal Lake, but somebody on set apparently couldn’t resist putting him in the hockey mask, too. And now we get to see it.

With all eight episodes of Peacock’s Friday the 13th prequel streaming, Tison has been sharing some really fun photos from the production. Among them is a shot of the actor wearing Jason’s most recognizable accessory as a joke between takes.

Spoilers for the Crystal Lake finale follow.

We previously reported that Tison plays the older Jason, who appears in the finale wearing the sack before his father, Elias, removes it. The hockey mask photo gives us a little something extra: a chance to see what this version of Jason looks like in the franchise’s signature disguise.

To be clear, this is some fun from the set, not a scene from the series or a reveal of where the story is going next. But if you’ve been wondering what Tison’s Jason would look like behind the hockey mask, here’s your answer.
