There’s a theme park in Italy that looks like Universal Studios and Disney’s old MGM Studios got thrown into a blender, and this video is a pretty fucking great advertisement for it.
TikTok creator @matthewables takes us through Movieland, showing off a collection of extremely familiar attractions with some hilariously different names. There’s We Are Back: Kids from the Future, complete with a DeLorean and unmistakable Back to the Future styling. Then there’s Shark Park, which looks like someone combined Jurassic Park with Jaws. Honestly, that’s a pretty great combination.
The park’s official attraction lineup also includes Hollywood Action Tower, an outdoor drop ride whose hotel theming and bellhops immediately call to mind Disney’s Tower of Terror. The actual ride, however, is a very different beast. Watching that thing drop is half the fun.
For horror fans, the video also offers a look at Halloween festivities featuring familiar faces including Art the Clown, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Pennywise, and Billy from Saw. There’s even a movie tour with a hilariously different take on King Kong. It just keeps going.
And yes, you can drive a Jeep through a dinosaur attraction. That one is called Pangea, and the park confirms that guests actually take the wheel as they travel through a forest populated by life-size dinosaurs. The Jurassic Park appeal pretty much explains itself.
