‘Halloween’ Star Danielle Harris Reveals the Real-Life Horrors Behind Her Hollywood Career in New Documentary [Teaser]

Danielle Harris has spent decades earning her place as one of horror’s most beloved stars, from playing Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4 and Halloween 5 to returning as Annie Brackett in Rob Zombie’s Halloween films and taking on Victor Crowley in the Hatchet sequels. Now, a new documentary will explore the life behind that career, including the deeply personal experiences fans may know little about. Deranged Minds Entertainment shared the announcement below.

Before she was old enough to drive, Danielle Harris had outrun Michael Myers twice and held her own opposite Bruce Willis and Roseanne Barr.

Off screen, she survived far worse: her father’s death in an unsolved car accident, the suicides of a famous partner and a close friend, a stalker who tracked her for two decades, and a pregnancy complication that stopped her heart.

Deranged Minds Entertainment today announced a feature-length documentary on the actress and filmmaker, the first to chronicle her life and career.

Filmed over the past three years, the documentary is the first to tell Harris’s story. The filmmakers draw on never-before-seen archival footage, private home video and interviews with Harris, her family, and friends and colleagues from her five decades in film. The documentary opens at her home and follows her onto sets in Los Angeles and at fan conventions across the country.

Here’s an exclusive look at the first teaser.

The project arrives amid strong demand for candid, star-led documentaries such as Hulu’s and Netflix’s .
