Emile Hirsch (The Autopsy of Jane Doe) looks like he’s having a terrible day in a new image from Lice, the parasite horror-comedy also starring Justin Long (Barbarian) and Kevin Connolly.
The image, shared by ScreenRant, finds Hirsch screaming over a deep fryer in a kitchen, with a woman behind him looking equally horrified.
The film takes place at a Long Island high school in the 1980s, where a deadly parasite outbreak triggers a military lockdown. Trapped inside, the itch-crazed students turn on each other as they struggle to survive.
Hirsch plays burned-out science teacher Mr. Shanker, who investigates the bloodthirsty parasites. Long plays the increasingly unhinged Principal Van, while Connolly’s Detective Sikorski tries to contain the outbreak from outside the school.
Lice marks the feature directorial debut of Jonathan Bensimon, working from a screenplay by Anthony Musella and Shaun Harris.
Magenta Light Studios will release Lice in theaters February 5, 2027.
