Jessica Rothe, Cooper Tomlinson and Mika Abdalla are set to star in the ride-share horror film ‘Seeker’ from Adam Rehmeier.
Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day) and Cooper Tomlinson (Obsession) are two of the hotter names in the horror genre right now, and they can add another upcoming title to the list. Deadline reports that the two, along with Mika Abdalla (Off Campus), have been cast in the ride-share horror film Seeker.
The film “follows Grant (Tomlinson), a man haunted by the unexplained disappearance of his fiancée Caroline (Abdalla) five years earlier. Now a ride-share driver, his life is upended when he picks up a passenger who he is convinced is responsible for her disappearance. What starts as a tense game of cat-and-mouse spirals into something far stranger, more disturbing, and deeply unhinged – challenging everything we think we know.”
And this is why I never take an Uber unless I absolutely have to.
Adam Rehmeier (Carolina Caroline) will direct from a script by Michael Learner.
Producers are Alex Lebovici and Michael Learner for Hammerstone Studios (Barbarian), plus Adam McKay and Todd Schulman for HyperObject Industries (The Menu), along with Noah Centineo and Enzo Marc of Arkhum Productions. Executive producers are Samuel Hall and Warren Goz for north.five.six., alongside Ibrahim Mohammed (Silent Night, Deadly Night), Yasmyne Mohammed, and Chase Vergari.
Seriously though, what a cast. Rothe first made a splash with horror fans in the incredibly entertaining slasher, Happy Death Day. She’s been on a roll lately with the genre, appearing in Affection, Imposters, Beware Boiúna and Pathetic Fallacy. You’ll next see her in River this January.
Tomlinson, meanwhile, is riding the success of Curry Barker’s Obsession, in which he played the not-so-great friend of Bear. He’ll be back with Barker again for Anything but Ghosts in May 2027.
Production is set to begin in January 2027 in Washington State, U.S.
