Jack McDermott is set to write and direct the holiday horror film ‘Stabbiest Season’, featuring a killer Anti-Claus.
You’ve heard of Santa Claus, but have you heard of the Anti-Claus?
Deadline reports that Narrative Global Sales and their genre label Chroma are bringing a bloody holiday horror gift to AFM titled Stabbiest Season…and it sounds nuts.
Here’s the official synopsis: “When the mythical killer Anti-Claus turns a jolly Christmas Eve party into a bloodbath, a group of young revelers must work together to survive the night and stay off the naughty list… or else.”
We’ve seen a ton of killer Santa Claus films, but I have no idea what to make of Anti-Claus. Is this killer related to Krampus, perhaps? Will he be more of a monster in form, or simply share the love of a sinister AF Christmas? Either way, this title has me curious.
Besides, we can never have too many holiday horror movies.
Jacm McDermott wrote and will direct the film.
McDermott will also produce, alongside Olivia Simon, with Alex Williams serving as executive producer.
Stabbiest Season aims to begin production in 2027.
