Mark O’Brien, Elias Koteas, Carmen Christopher & Jamie McShane have joined the cast of Zach Cregger-produced dark comedy, ‘Little One’.
Dark horror comedy Little One continues to expand on its impressive cast, with Mark O’Brien (pictured above in Ready or Not), Elias Koteas (Fallen), Carmen Christopher (Friendship) and Jamie McShane (“Wednesday”) are officially joining, reports Deadline.
They join Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect), Chiara Aurelia (Fear Street: Part Two), Redding Munsell (At the Sea), and Derek Luh (Gen V), David Harbour (“Stranger Things”) and Gaby Hoffmann (Field of Dreams).
That’s quite the cast for a first-time director, which makes me think there must be a lot of faith in the script. Considering who’s behind it, that’s exciting.
Little One “watches as a sudden change in a child’s behavior threatens to tear a picture-perfect family apart.”
The film marks director/writer Alex Kavutskiy‘s feature debut.
Weapons duo Zach Cregger and Roy Lee will reunite on the picture as producers. With those two attached, I can’t help but automatically think of Weapons with the premise of Little One. I’m expecting a dark comedy, potentially revolving around a killer kid that’s unafraid to get weird. We’ll see.
Also producing are Chris McEwen (Love, Simon), alongside Amanda Phillips and Melina Torres of Soto Productions (Winner, The Assistant). Ibrahim Mohammed of Script 2 Screen will executive produce and co-finance the film alongside Chase Vigari, with First Take, David Goldman, Michael Learner and Karina Manashil as additional executive producers.
Alex Lebovici’s Hammerstone Studios financed the film.
begins shooting this month in Los Angeles.
