‘Siren Head’ Movie in the Works from Zach Cregger and Brian Duffield!
Zach Cregger & Brian Duffield are jumping onto the horror meme ‘Siren Head’ created by Trevor Henderson, with a film in the works from the duo

Huge news this morning (literally), as THR reports that Warner Bros. has snagged the rights to Siren Head, a viral horror meme created by creature designer Trevor Henderson that centers on a massive, skeletal figure with two sirens for a head.
Even bigger? Zach Cregger (Weapons) and Brian Duffield (Whalefall) are teaming up to write the script, with plans for Duffield to direct.
No word on plot details just yet.
Created by Canadian artist Henderson in 2018, the cryptid took off, and before long, it led to a slew of YouTube animations, fan theories, fan-made shorts, you name it.
Some of you may recall that Henderson also designed the creatures for Tarot. While I didn’t love that film, the creature designs were far and away the best part. He’s an incredibly gifted artist with a knack for creating monsters that refuse to leave your brain.
Cregger will also produce the feature alongside Roy Lee and Andrew Childs of Vertigo Entertainment. Scott Glassgold of 12:01 Films will also produce. Duffield will produce via his banner, Jurassic Party Productions.
The outlet notes that the rights deal is said to be in the low seven figures, and the auction brought out all the big studios, including Sony, Universal, Paramount, and Disney’s 20th Century Studios. The move signals that, following the success of The Backrooms, Hollywood’s obsession with internet Creepypastas and memes is here to stay for the time being.
THR also notes that Cregger and Duffield are said to have found a take into the world that propelled them into collaborating and got the studios excited enough to lead to a bidding war.
Hollywood is searching for the next Obsession and Backrooms that will get Gen-Z pouring into theaters. Clearly, Warner Bros. hopes that’s the case with . With that talent attached, they just might be onto something.
