Ten years after Train to Busan, director Yeon Sang-ho is back in the zombie business with Colony, and a new clip begs for the elevator doors to close.
Ahead of the film’s U.S. theatrical release tomorrow, we have a new look at the film in which our survivors battle an entire horde of zombies as they make their way for an elevator escape.
If you’ve seen the trailers, you already know how insane that gets. We’ve got hordes of infected covered in white goo, bodies seemingly melding together, and vicious masses of flesh and teeth that look more like giant organisms than traditional zombies.
Written by Yeon Sang-ho and Choi Gyu-seok, Colony follows Professor Se-jeong (Gianna Jun) after a rapidly mutating virus is unleashed during a biotech conference. Authorities seal the facility, leaving Se-jeong and a small group of survivors trapped inside as the infected undergo increasingly horrific transformations.
Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-been, Kim Shin-rock, and Go Soo also star.
Colony infects U.S. theaters August 28, 2026, via Well Go USA Entertainment.
