The Night Frights LA Horror Film Festival Is a Must for Genre Fans!

Tristan and Gavin Winchester, also known as the Winchester Brothers, are excited to invite you all to this year’s Night Frights LA Horror Film Festival, running at the Gardena Cinema in Los Angeles from October 2 through October 4.

The three-day celebration spotlights independent horror, filmmakers, audiences, and the collective community belief that genre cinema is an experience, not just a notch on a program.

This year’s festival anticipates over 300 audience members, with 62 selected projects across three days of live programming, including Screen Shock, Bloodrush, and Night Terrors. The festival promises experience over gatekeeping, community over isolation, curated programming, and visibility and support beyond the film screening. As a bastion for independent filmmakers in the genre space, you couldn’t ask for more.

This year’s program includes the Winchester Brothers’ Too Tight to Move as a Spotlight Feature on Friday, and Aidan Leary’s Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round on Saturday. Looky-Loo Pt. II, Hollow Girls, and Infernus are among the feature presentations, while dozens of shorts, including Obey, Who Goes There, and Midnight Movie Club, are among the full catalog of titles. The organization is also developing a distribution pathway through SCARY GOOD on Be Afraid TV, a hosted horror anthology series produced by 2100films with Be Afraid Media. Selected Night Frights LA films are considered for inclusion, with filmmakers retaining their rights and no participation fee for the series.
