‘Berserk’ Volume 43 Delayed Until November Due to Production Issue

Dark Horse Comics just shared some brutal news for Berserk fans: the English-language release of Volume 43 has been delayed until November 24, 2026, pushing the already lengthy wait into another month.

“Due to an unforeseen production issue, the release date for Berserk Volume 43 has been delayed to November 24th, 2026,” the publisher announced on social media. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

The latest volume is already available in Japan, but those of us following the American editions have been waiting to get our hands on the next chapter in Guts’ story.

Original creator Kentaro Miura died on May 6, 2021, at just 54. He began publishing Berserk in 1989, spending more than three decades building a world that readers have now been living in for nearly 40 years. Some fans have quite literally grown up alongside Guts, Casca, and Griffith, following a story whose incredibly detailed artwork makes even its most grotesque imagery worth stopping to stare at.
