Clark Duke (The Office) is returning to the wild and wonderful world of genre cinema with Stranglehold, a darkly comedic thriller. Stranglehold is Clark’s second feature as a filmmaker, following the Vince Vaughn, Liam Hemsworth vehicle Arkansas.

The official synopsis reads, “Obsessed with the glamorous influencers she follows on social media and fed up with her life of barely getting by, a small-town Arkansas stripper named Bailey (Ashley Benson) decides to rob the club she works at with the help of her ex-military husband, Tim (Jake Lacy), so they can give their infant daughter a decent Christmas and a better life.”
Stranglehold stars Ashley Benson, Jake Lacy, Justin Long, Chandler Duke, Elle King, David Arquette , and Ron Perlman.
Stranglehold will be available Friday, October 2nd, on Digital Platforms and VOD courtesy of Quiver.
