Freddy Krueger Brings a Nightmare to Fortnite Tonight In New Teaser [Watch]

One, two, Freddy’s coming for you…

…And Fortnite, as the iconic dream demon is set to land in the popular game’s shop as a new skin tonight. To celebrate, Fortnite has released a new teaser featuring the slasher villain as he prowls the new Elm Street location, looking for his next victim. He’s accompanied by that classic jump rope song in an eerie new remix, as well.

You can also hear Freddy declare, “My dream, your nightmare”. Yesterday, we reported that Robert Englund supposedly reprises his Nightmare on Elm Street role as Freddy Krueger and fully voices the character. I’ll admit, it does sound like him, and that is very exciting.

I was already going to buy this skin, because yes, I’m an adult who plays Fortnite. And, yes, the game’s annual Halloween Fortnitemares event is my favorite time to hop in. But the teaser below seals the deal.

Not only has the map gotten a Halloween-themed update with a new Nightmare Neighborhood where you can find a Freddy boss prowling around, but multiple new genre skins are arriving soon.

We already got Five Nights at Freddy’s skins yesterday. Freddy enters the shop tonight, and he’ll soon be joined by Beetlejuice, The Purge, and many more.

Check out Fortnite’s Freddy Krueger tease below, and remember…you aren’t dreaming. Freddy Krueger is finally in Fortnite.
