Halloween: The Game is celebrating its namesake holiday with new costumes, content, and some October surprises still to be revealed.
The game’s official account shared a seasonal preview titled “What’s Haunting Haddonfield,” presenting its Halloween plans in a fun little catalog-style snapshot.
“We have big plans to celebrate the season of scares with this community, and can’t wait to share more details about the costumes, content, and more headed to Halloween: The Game,” the team wrote.
The announcement leaves the specifics for later, but there are already some alternate looks available for players who want to change up their trips through Haddonfield.
The Digital Deluxe content includes an Inmate Michael Myers skin, two exclusive civilian characters named Richard and Alexis, and advance access to Laurie Strode’s “Final Girl” cosmetic, along with a digital comic. Existing owners can purchase a Digital Deluxe upgrade.
The Phantom Michael Myers skin, meanwhile, was a digital preorder exclusive. The developer’s FAQ specifically states that it won’t be available to purchase after launch.
There are also alternate costumes and cosmetics unlocked by completing challenges in the single-player story mode, so customization extends beyond the paid extras.
Halloween: The Game is available digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with physical console editions arriving October 6. Players can stalk Haddonfield as Michael Myers or try to save its residents in multiplayer, while a separate single-player story lets them experience the night through Michael’s eyes.
