‘Postmortem’ Images Tease Atmospheric Supernatural Horror Ahead of Screamfest World Premiere [Exclusive]

Ahead of the film’s world premiere at Screamfest this Saturday, Dread is proud to present a handful of exclusive new images from Postmortem, which we reported on back in August.

I love what we’re seeing so far, as the images tease an eerie supernatural horror flick set in one of the scariest places of them all: a morgue.

Here’s the official logline: Stricken with grief, a medical forensic investigator works on a case that makes her believe she can bring her deceased husband back to life, only to unravel a series of events that lead to unforeseen and perilous consequences.

In the first image below, we see someone who appears to be star Odette Annable (Cloverfield) peering in on a body in the morgue. Hard to make out the face, but that’s my best guess.

Allegra Leguizamo, Julio Cedillo, Tony Revolori, and Andres Londono also star.

Andres Beltran (Quicksand) wrote and directed the film.

Producers are Jason Cherubini, Roberto Urbina, and Martin Ramos. Executive producers are Luisa Velosa, Alma Hernandez-Hercules, John Harris, J. Todd Harris, Marc Marcum, and Thomas Pettinelli.
