Yesterday, Fortnite teased the arrival of its Obsession Pack, dropping October 21. This morning, we’re finally getting a proper look at Nikki, and yes, that wonderfully miserable face made it into the game.
Epic Games supplied DiscussingFilm with an official first look at the character, played by Inde Navarrette in Obsession, standing in the shadows and looking deeply unhappy. Meanwhile, HYPEX shared a full showcase of her outfit, accessories, and emote, giving us a much closer look at what’s coming tomorrow.
Nikki wears her now iconic red and black party dress with black boots, with an alternate look covering her face and body in a dark substance. And then there’s the frown. Personally, that upset expression is getting right up there with Jack Nicholson sticking his face through the door in The Shining. You see it and immediately know exactly what movie you’re looking at.
The “No No No, Don’t Do That” emote has Nikki holding up a series of signs with increasingly frantic versions of the phrase before making that sad face again. Her accessories include the One Wish Willow back bling and Nikki’s Broken Bottle pickaxe. You only get one wish, and you probably shouldn’t make her use that bottle.
