From ‘Terrifier’ to ‘Dog Soldiers,’ Terror Threads Gets Us Horror Fans

Last month, Terror Threads shared an Instagram story thanking the horror community for supporting their small business and talking about how difficult it can be to keep one running. And ain’t that the fucking truth.

Having spent 25 years running horror websites, I know that feeling all too well. You’re responsible for figuring everything out yourself, keeping the business moving, and somehow navigating the nightmare that is our healthcare system on top of it. We love talking about how important small businesses are in this country. Actually running one can make you wonder how much of that support exists beyond the talking points.

But I digress. I wanted to give Terror Threads some love, because they’ve been part of this community for a long time and have some really incredible officially licensed merchandise. We were writing about their Art the Clown Christmas sweaters back in 2018, long before Terrifier became the monster it is today.

They still have some of the best Terrifier merchandise out there. I love the limited edition gold “Welcome to Camp” shirt from their Hours of Terror collection. It has that Friday the 13th summer camp feel, only with Art the Clown. There’s also Art wielding a flamethrower, because apparently my closet needs that too.
