Jane Levy Once Again Teases ‘Evil Dead’ Return

Over ten years later, I still think about Jane Levy and her performance in the 2013 Evil Dead. Her role as Mia marked an exciting new era for the franchise. One that introduced a new hero in Sam Raimi’s ghoulish series. She displays an impressive range in the film, playing a recovering addict, a deadite, and a chainsaw-wielding badass. To this day, I can still hear the audience cheering as she shoves that roaring blade into the big bad’s face, unleashing a torrent of gore.

What. A. Film. And what a memorable portrayal.

For those who don’t recall, Evil Dead 2013 teased the idea that Mia would eventually meet Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) in a future film. Alas, that never happened. Since then, Bruce has announced his retirement from the character, squashing the idea entirely.

But that doesn’t mean Mia won’t be back.

Rumors have circulated that Levy might return for the upcoming Evil Dead Wrath. Now, Deadline reports that the actor recently teased the idea once again.

The outlet reports that she attended a Q&A following a screening of Evil Dead 2013. When asked about a potential return, Levy asked the audience, “I have a question. Do you guys think Mia should come back to Evil Dead?”
