‘Werwulf’: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Rages in New Image

Aaron Taylor-Johnson lets out a scream in a new image from Robert Eggers’ Werwulf, arriving in theaters December 25 via Focus Features.

The image comes courtesy of ScreenRant and gives us another look at the heavily bearded actor in Eggers’ follow-up to Nosferatu. Check it out below.

As we previously reported, the medieval horror film follows a man cursed to become a werewolf as he searches for salvation through love. Eggers co-wrote the screenplay with Sjón, his collaborator on The Northman.

Lily-Rose Depp (Nosferatu), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse), Ralph Ineson (The Witch), and Bodhi Rae Breathnach (Hamnet) also star.

Tickets for select 35mm screenings are already on sale for the Christmas release.
