‘Violent Night 2’: Santa and Mrs. Claus Gear Up in Over 25 New Images [Gallery]

We have over 25 new images from Violent Night 2, featuring David Harbour (Stranger Things) back as Santa Claus and Kristen Bell (Pulse) joining him as Mrs. Claus. There are behind-the-scenes photos, plenty of shots of Harbour rocking weapons, and the two looking badass together, ready for a mall battle with a bunch of goofball villains.

It looks like a silly, fun, violent good time. The first Violent Night was incredibly violent, though, and I’m still hoping the sequel delivers the gore on that same level. These images look a little more accessible—more Die Hard in a mall with David Harbour’s Santa Claus. Thankfully, it’s still rated R for “strong/bloody violence, and language.” Either way, Harbour is great, and this looks like a good time.

Returning director Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow) sends Santa to the Silver Bell Mall, where a gangster played by Jared Harris is terrorizing the merchants. With his Christmas magic depleted, Santa needs to rediscover his spirit—and get some help from Mrs. Claus.

Joe Pantoliano, Daniela Melchior, Andrew Bachelor, Maggie Robertson, and Maxwell Friedman also star.

Universal Pictures releases Violent Night 2 in theaters December 4, 2026. Revisit the trailer and check out the new gallery below.
